The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering companies including new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed with regard to the superior number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“That is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office focused on service the area each day. The provider place established for intervention ordeals a high inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it tough for the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to enable the servicing of all customers and increase usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
